Futsal is widely known by the smartest educators as the best skill development game for children. At it's best, players show flair, skill, courage, intelligence and vision.
It is the game Pele, Ronaldhino, Ronaldo and Robinho played as young children. In fact, all Brazilian's play small field games with fewer players until age 14.
All players must learn to attack and defend, pass & move. In attack, the idea of this game is to encourage a more creative, skilful player and to use space well. In defence, heavy tackling is strongly discouraged. Defenders are encouraged to jockey, steal & intercept to dispossess attackers.
We would like young players to become comfortable, confident and at one with the ball at their feet
